LOW CARB DIET LOWERS BLOOD PRESSURE

I was reading a Reuter's news article about the positive effects of a low carb diet on blood pressure compared to the effects of a low fat diet's effects on blood pressure. This is one that i can testify for myself as my low carb/high alkaline lifestyle has helped me to burn off 85 pounds of ugly body fat! It also lowered my blood pressure to the point off not having to deal with those headaches anymore. Maybe the credit could go to the fact that i replaced most of my animal fats with healthy vegetable fats. Either way i feel much better.

I had tried low fat diets in the past and just didn't get the same fat burning results that i got eating low carb/high alkaline foods. I replaced refined wheat, rice and potato products with lots of veggies and fruits to keep me full. It can be rough in the beginning as your body tries to get used to the lower blood sugar levels and you experiment with how much food you need to keep you from being hungry. I simply ate more fruit early in the morning and between meals. My meals overflowed with veggies everyday as i watched my waistline slim down to a tolerable size.

I don't think you should eliminate all starches from your diet. I keep them to a minimum to allow my body to tap into its reserves of stored fat. As a former obese man who enjoys a good sandwich every now and then, i do eat 100% whole grain bread, just not everyday. Life is about balance. Eating a 50-80% alkaline foods lifestyle means that 20-50% of your food can be acid foods that you enjoy eating. Eat an abundant variety of veggies and fruits daily to help maintain balance in your life. EAT PLENTY OF ALKALINE FOODS
