This is a far better option than eating grains in the morning. The high sugar breakfast cereal that your taste buds desire is better replaced by whole fruit. Using the whole fruit to make smoothies is a FAR better choice than juicing, which eliminates much-needed fiber and other nutrients. 

– 4 oz milk (your favorite variety) or water (use less if a thicker shake is desired)
– 2 tbsp vanilla sugar-free, fat-free instant pudding powder (optional)
– fresh strawberries (7-9 medium size)
– 5-7 ice cubes
– 1 packet of Stevia (or another natural sugar-free sweetener) 

Add all ingredients and pulse in a blender until smooth. Add a little more milk if necessary. Eat 60-80% of your diet as raw fruits and veggies for maximum health!

(NaturalNews) Today we know more about vitamins, minerals and nutrition in general then ever before, but at the same time there are various elements of the media and medical community that want to keep everyone in the dark about the true role and power that vitamins play in our health and life.

It’s been known since the turn of the last century that the cause of nearly all degenerative diseases as well as the weakening of the immune system that makes one susceptible to communicable diseases is deficiencies of various key nutrients or total lack of them altogether.

Of course this knowledge has been carefully and cleverly hidden from the public for over one hundred years now since they can’t have people learning that they can be healthy merely by taking the right nutrients and the right amounts of each. That’s why as is the case with vitamin C and many other vitamins, the RDA for most nutrients is pathetically low and barely enough to keep you alive, let alone for you to be healthy and strong.

The war against natural medicine

Since the mid 1800s, the naturopathic doctors have ceaselessly and constantly come under attack by the MDs and organized medical community. As the mechanized view of the body and the germ theory of disease began to become more accepted along with the belief that chemicals and drugs were the way of the future, the attacks became more frequent, bold and progressed to outright lies at times. That’s because the MD, with his surgical procedures, chemical drugs, fancy concoctions and useless medical terminology had much more potential for financial gain than did the naturopath or “country doctor“. They saw the country doctor as a threat to their growing influence and livelihood as well. In fact the medical terminology that doctors use was created precisely to make the average person feel ignorant and stupid and to keep people from ever trying to diagnose or cure themselves.

The AMA is all about doctors

The American Medical Association (AMA) was formed in 1847 specifically to protect the profits and practices of doctors, the MD, not the “country doctor” who they came to view as backwards and outdated. Of course they know that the methods and cures of the country doctor were far better, cheaper and safer than the drugs and surgery approach of the “medical doctor”, also known as the “Slash and Burn” method, but it was all about the profits, so if the AMA was going to represent any group they knew that the MDs offered them the greatest chance at profits, growth and power. The AMA is a union created specifically for doctors, NOT patients, not to find cures, not to prevent disease, but to protect the profits of doctors. Just like any union, its job is to protect the jobs and income of its members. The AMA is not the wonderful, benign or righteous agency that it tries to convince the world that it is.

Western medical establishments know that nutrition prevents disease and cures most non-communicable diseases. Nutrition can also help to fight communicable diseases too. That’s why they work so hard to suppress this knowledge; it’s also why they’re working so hard to get nutrients like vitamin c labeled as a “drug”. They haven’t yet, but they’re not giving up on this either.

Most doctors will not tell you the power of nutrition, even if they believe in it themselves. This is why it’s always best to educate yourself as much as possible on this subject and take control of your own health.

Veggie Chop Suey


  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 celery stalks cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 6 oz snow peas
  • 1/2 lb bok choy, chopped
  • 1/4 lb mushrooms cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper chopped
  • 1/4 lb bean sprouts, rinsed and drained
  • 1  can sliced water chestnuts
  • 1  can sliced bamboo shoots
  • Vegetable oil
  • Water
  • Salt and pepper to taste


1-   Stir together garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, soy sauce, salt, and 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch in a bowl.

2-   Keep cut vegetables separate. Heat a wok over high heat until a bead of water dropped onto cooking surface evaporates immediately. Drizzle 1 teaspoon vegetable oil around side of wok, then stir-fry celery, seasoning with salt, until crisp-tender, about 2 minutes. Transfer celery to a large bowl. Reheat wok and stir-fry each remaining vegetable separately in same manner (but allow only 1 minute for bean sprouts), adding 1 teaspoon oil to wok before each batch and seasoning with salt. When stir-frying bok choy, begin with ribs then add leaves and 1 tablespoon water after 1 minute. Transfer each vegetable as cooked to bowl with celery.

3-   Stir together 1 teaspoon oyster sauce, and 1 teaspoon cornstarch.

4-   Reheat wok over high heat until a bead of water evaporates immediately. Drizzle 1 tablespoon vegetable oil around side of wok. Return all vegetables to wok and toss. Make a well in center, then stir broth mixture and add to well. Bring sauce to a boil, undisturbed, then stir to combine with vegetables. Serve immediately, with cooked rice.

 There are hardly any people complaining about this following subject. At least that’s what you may think considering the hush-hush atmosphere surrounding the condition. The condition that I speak of is Hemorrhoids. Millions of people in America are suffering from hemorrhoids yet no one talks much about it out of pure embarrassment. The most common causes of hemorrhoids are prolonged sitting, straining at stool, constipation, and spicy foods in the diet such as cayenne pepper, hot sauces with any hot pepper and hot mustards like wasabi. Drinks such as coffee, decaffeinated coffee, and alcohol should be avoided. Stress can cause hemorrhoids, as can pregnancy (due to pressure of the fetus in the abdomen, as well as hormonal changes that cause blood vessels to enlarge – these hemorrhoids usually disappear after delivery). Obesity and chronic diarrhea can also lead to hemorrhoids.

If you notice any of the following, you could have hemorrhoids:
• Bleeding during bowel movements
• Protrusion during bowel movements
• Itching in the anal area
• Pain
• Sensitive lump

 Doctors are stating that 50 to 75 percent of Americans will suffer from hemorrhoids at least once during lifetime and nearly one-third of the American population is having a recurring problem with this very painful condition. Hemorrhoids are usually caused by increased pressure on the veins of the anus and the rectum. This pressure becomes inflamed and swells much in the way that pressure on the veins of the legs creates varicose veins. Increased pressure on the anal veins can occur for many reasons but is most commonly the result of constipation and pregnancy and during childbirth. There may also be a genetic relation to this condition.

   Cure Your Hemorrhoids

 It is often difficult to find a cure for a disease or condition when an exact cause is unknown. It is argued by some that the upright posture of human beings alone can force a great deal of pressure on the rectal veins, which sometimes causes them to bulge out. There are a host of other contributing factors that may or may not include:
• Heredity
• Straining during bowel movements
• Aging
• Pregnancy
• Chronic constipation or diarrhea
• Erratic bowel function due to overuse of laxatives
• Spending long periods of time (e.g., reading) on the toilet
 What ever the cause of this may be the tissues supporting the vessels stretch. As a result, the vessels dilate, the walls become thin and start to leak blood. If the stretching and pressure continue, the weakened vessel protrudes and becomes painful. Many people will settle for the short term answer and medicate with over-the-counter drugs or prescription drugs while others may decide to take a more long term holistic approach so that the condition doesn’t return. The best way to deal with this is to make some serious adjustments to your diet. Constipation is usually the most popular cause of this condition and can be remedied by eating the foods that nature intended for you to eat.

 To prevent hemorrhoids as well as treat them, you should increase the amount of fiber in your diet in order to relieve constipation (and consequent straining, which increases pressure in the veins surrounding the anus). You can do this by eating plenty of fruits, vegetables and whole grains. If that’s not possible, take psyllium seed husks, in any of the forms available in drugstores and health-food stores. Drink lots of water, more than you think you need. Yet another healthy option is freshly ground flaxseed, a great source of both soluble and insoluble fiber in addition to omega-3 fatty acids and lignans. Flax helps promote bowel motility as well as softening stool.

 Fresh fruit and veggies are the classic fiber foods, and as a bonus, they are rich in phytonutrients and have lots of nutritional health benefits. Make them the foundation of every meal and snack on non-starchy fruit in between meals when you may want a bite to hold you over. Eat a wide variety of veggies everyday as some say as many as 12 servings a day of veggies and fruit. Having 2-3 servings of dark green leafy veggies daily can make a big difference in your digestive function. Plan to have three quarters your plate covered with vegetables in a variety of colors for balanced nutrition. Processed food is NOT to be eaten because all the fiber has been processed away.

Here is a sample of types of food you may eat to make sure you never have to worry much about hemorrhoids again:

1. Foods that contain whole grains- 100% whole wheat bread, brown rice, 100% bran cereals, 100% whole wheat pasta, oat, popcorn.

2. Fresh vegetables- These should make up at least 50% of your diet. Concentrate on eating the non starchy veggies. They are very nutrient dense.

3. Root vegetables- such as whole potatoes, radishes, turnips, carrots, celery. Sweet potatoes are much more nutrient dense than white potatoes but the choice is yours.

4. Fresh fruits- Please do not peel off the EDIBLE skin before eating fruit, as it is the part that contains the greatest amount of fiber and vitamins. These plants should make up about 20% of your daily food intake.

5. Dried fruits- I am not much of a fan of dried fruits because of their high sugar content but since this is about consuming more fiber then do what you gotta do. Just use caution to not overeat.

 6. If you just have to eat cereal in the morning then make sure it is 100% bran cereal. Try to eat bran cereals every morning if you need it for regularity but start with small amounts until your digestive system gets used to processing them. Slowly increase the amount of bran cereals and you will achieve regular and smooth bowel movements.

Hot Bran Cereal Recipe with raisins

  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 cup of apple juice
  • 1/4 cup of raisins
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2/3 cup of oat bran


1. Add all the ingredients in a pan and mix until well blended.
2. Cook for about two minutes, medium heat until you reach your desired texture.

Eating a high plant food diet is essential to never having to worry about this condition again. Actually, eating lots of veggies, fruits, nuts and beans helps beat quite a few diseases!

Eating for Treatment of Flu Symptoms

 The flu season is upon us and most people are not even close to being prepared for its onslaught. A great many people have a weakened immune system due to a piss poor diet. Yes it is true… your diet greatly affects your immune system. The flu has affected people on both American coasts and just about every place in between. Each year between 25-50 million cases of influenza are reported within the United States. Everyone expects to get a cold once or twice and many people have several during a cold season but no one wants to get the flu! This means time spent away from work or school and physical misery as you lie in bed wondering if this feeling is worse than death itself. Of course, 99% of flu sufferers usually live to tell about and how they never, ever want to get it again.

 This year’s version of the flu seems to be a little more brutal than previous year’s versions. It could be because of the type of flu virus that’s that has been doing the damage. This year’s version of influenza falls under the umbrella of flu known as H3N2. A great deal of the time when H3N2 seasons have come around they are more severe, with much greater numbers of doctor visits and deaths. That means we need to wash our hands more and keep a small bottle of sanitizer around. And that also means that we should be better prepared by improving our diet and the eating habits of our families. Eating a diet high in whole plant foods and little meat or dairy gives an enormous boost to your immune system.

The flu may include the following symptoms:

Fever: A fever occurs when your body temperature increases in response to illness or injury. Your temperature is considered elevated when it is 100°F or greater.

Headache: Patients with headache symptoms can have difficulty concentrating while at work or school or may be unusually sensitive to loud or abrupt noises.

Fatigue: Fatigue is a feeling of tiredness, exhaustion, or lack of energy. When associated with one or more of the other symptoms, this can be a sign of the flu.

Cough: Most people can treat their coughs at home by taking over-the-counter medicines and cough drops.

Sore throat: Most sore throats will improve on their own within 1-2 weeks. However, you should seek medical care if you have difficulty swallowing or breathing or your symptoms are severe or last longer than 1-2 weeks.

Runny or stuffy nose: Keep plenty of tissues nearby ‘cause your gonna need them. Many cold and flu medications help relieve you of excess run-off.

Body aches: Body aches that are sudden and unexplained can be a sign of the flu.

Nausea and Diarrhea:  More common in children than adults. Drink nutrient-enhanced beverages.

 Having some of these flu symptoms does not necessarily mean you have been infected with the flu, as these can also be related to other illnesses. Flu is an acute infection of the airway tract in the nose and throat that can sometimes spread down into the lungs. It is the most frequent cause of acute respiratory illness and can affect people of all ages. About 5%-20% of people in the United States get the flu every year, and more than 200,000 are admitted to a hospital for complications related to the flu. Each year, it has been known to kill anywhere from 3,000 to as many as 49,000 Americans from the complications of the virus. Most of these deaths occur in those older than 65 years of age.

   The Center for Disease Control (CDC) is standing fast to their statement that the flu vaccine is the best way to combat the flu. The CDC emphatically recommends annual flu vaccination for all persons 6 months of age and older. Flu vaccination is especially important for younger children (under 5 years of age, and in particular under 2). While infants under 6 months of age are also at very high risk from the flu, current vaccines are not effective in them. Tamilflu OS is typically prescribed for children younger than 13 or for people who have trouble swallowing pills. It is the only flu drug for infants approved by the Food and Drug Administration. The FDA granted that approval for infant use in December of 2012. The flu often gets diagnosed late in infants because the symptoms are not specific and may even possibly suggest a bacterial infection has taken place. Influenza in infants younger than 6 months of age is less common, but symptoms include lethargy, poor feeding, and poor circulation.

  • Make sure your child drinks plenty of water or a sports beverage. It is important to keep your toddler from dehydration caused by fever.
  • Keep your child warm and comfortable but too many blankets may overheat and dehydrate your child.
  • Encourage lots of bed rest.
  • Use a humidifier to moisten the air. Dry air makes coughing worst.
  • Use saline spray to loosen thick nasal mucus that may be congesting the nasal airways.
  • If your child is feverish, over-the-counter children acetaminophen or ibuprofen can reduce fever and pain. Avoid aspirins for toddlers.

 And should you be using those over-the-counter cough remedies? This proves to be a controversial subject as more medical research show over-the-counter oral cough and cold medicine to be ineffective. A panel of expert advisors to the FDA recommended that most over-the-counter cough and cold medicines don’t work for children under 6. Some are even found to be harmful to toddlers so their use cannot be recommended. It is also strongly advised against giving your toddler below 2 years old any type of oral cough remedy.

 If you have the flu and don’t feel like eating any food then don’t. Wait until you begin to feel a little better and begin eating light. Prior to that, just keep to sipping on liquids like sports drinks or chicken broth. What would have been better is if you had been eating a better diet prior to getting the flu. A diet high in veggies, fruits, raw nuts and beans will boost your metabolism AND your immune system. Eating plants that have been labeled “superfoods” will make your body perform at its best when fighting foreign invaders such as viruses. Avoid eating high fat, high sugar processed foods. If you want to stay healthy, stay away from fast food restaurants.

Homemade spicy chicken and vegetable soup

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 large onion, chopped
3 pounds chicken pieces of your choice
8 cups water
1 bulb of garlic
2 teaspoons table salt
 Ground black pepper to taste
1 large carrot, diced
1 large celery stalk, diced
1 pound bag of frozen soup veggies
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill

1-   In a large 5-quart pot over medium-high heat, heat the vegetable oil. Add the onion and saute it for 3 to 4 minutes. Add the chicken pieces. Cook chicken parts until lightly browned, about 10 minutes.

2-   Add water, bay leaf, table salt and some freshly ground black pepper and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer. Simmer pot gently for 20 minutes.

3-   Transfer chicken parts to a plate to cool a bit before handling.

4-   Bring the broth back to a simmer and add more salt. Add frozen soup vegetables and simmer them until they’re firm-tender, about 5 minutes.  Soup is done and ready to serve.

 There comes a time in life when you have to make a serious decision about changing your eating habits. After the age of 25 years, most people began to notice a wee bit of weight gain that may not began to be noticeable to other folks until you reach 30 or so. To maintain that figure you had in your youth, you must begin to make dietary adjustments in relation to your slowing metabolism. The processed meat piled high on sandwiches and the macaroni/cheese binges that you went on as a youngster have to end or you WILL end up obese(fat) and diabetic with your fair share of high blood pressure problems. This is when a good number of people begin to dabble in vegetarianism or becoming vegan. Being vegan is a real challenge for most westerners especially here in America So I advise you work with vegetarianism first before going hardcore!

 The idea of vegetarianism is growing ever more popular among the people who live on the left side of the Atlantic Ocean. This is good to hear since Americans like to deep fry anything that can be swallowed! The health benefits associated with meatless eating clearly outweighs any drawbacks to cutting back part time on your dead animal intake. It would be very beneficial to eliminate ALL processed meats from your diet as it has far more negative implications than positive. If you just have to eat meat then you should consider eating meats that are organic. Organic or not, fat filled processed foods are the leading cause of heart disease, which kills 500, 000 people or more every year in America. Judging by the obesity rate and the diabetes that follows, it is safe to assume that no one is reading the nutrition labels on food products. With the rising rate of death associated with heart disease being what it is, we all may want to at least consider the thought of meatless meals. Or at least we should try skipping a day or two every now and then for our hearts sake.

 We as humans are biologically designed to eat particular foods in their natural forms. This means eating a diet that consists primarily of fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds. Are you listening? These foods are what your body wants to digest. Eating a plant based diet means you will be eating a much more fiber as part of your diet. Easier digestion means that your body will be using less energy for pushing food through your system. Constipation is rarely a problem when you eat a diet of 60-80% alkaline foods. Give your body what eat craves to eat naturally and you won’t have to be concerned with you or the rest of your family having the very uncomfortable problem of constipation. When trying to live on a diet of meat, dairy and refined grains, your digestive system is always struggling to push slow moving products through your body and has to struggle to continue doing this everyday. This encourages the presence of unfriendly bacteria to begin growing in your system and eventually disease will occur.

 The foods designed by nature to be consumed by humans are full of the minerals, vitamins, phytonutrients and fiber needed to effectively operate your body at a high level. The nutrients found in plant foods far outweigh what you would get eating a diet high in meat and dairy products. Much of the protein found in meat is made unusable by the cooking process so you really are not getting all the protein that you thought you were. As long as you eat a wide variety of fruits, vegetables and grains every single day, you will not be deficient nutritionally. Eating a meal of beans and rice give you more protein per serving than meat without the saturated fat. There are lots of nutrients found in brown rice and unrefined grains. Be sure to eat 100% whole grains to get the full benefit of this healthy style of living. If you are avoiding gluten then you may want to skip eating wheat, barley or rye. These foods contain gluten at varying levels and should be eaten with caution. If you think that your stomach problems may be gluten related then remove it from your diet foe 30 days and then order yourself a pizza pie. If the discomfort comes back, well…

Veggie Black Bean Tacos


  • 4 cup Black Beans
  • 2 cup Broccoli, chopped
  • 1 cup Onions, chopped
  • 2 tsp. Olive oil
  • 1-2 Tbsp. cumin
  • 1/2 cup water
  • dash salt
  • 8 Corn tortillas or taco shells


  1. Steam broccoli. Drain and rinse canned black beans.
  2. Sautee onions in olive oil until well done.
  3. Add steamed broccoli, black beans, cumin, salt and water.
  4. Cook down until done.
  5. Warm corn tortillas in a pan.
  6. Fill them up with beans and broccoli mixture.
  7. Add light sour cream and low fat cheddar cheese if desired. Avoid sour cream and cheddar cheese if you want a vegan meal. (Vegan means that you eat NO meat or dairy)

 Most recipes that involve meat can be change to a veggie recipe with a few minor changes. In recipes with ground animal, you can substitute black beans or kidney beans to make up for volume. Morningstar vegetarian products sell a ground beef substitute and a ground sausage substitute that I find to be delicious. The overall benefits of a meat free diet are monumental and should become the foundation for anyone trying to change to a healthier lifestyle. Weight loss is inevitable when eating less fat and consuming more fiber from plants will make you feel lighter on your feet. Your defense against disease will improve greatly as your immune system will get a positive boost from this eating style of veggies and fruits. Eat them in abundance and let nature do its work. This is much needed as the evolution of different species of bacteria and viruses threaten mankind every year. Build your immune system and avoid obesity by eating more alkaline foods daily

 Broccoli is one of those superfoods that is readily available in most locations during nearly every season. High consumption of broccoli has been associated with healthy eating. Eating more non-starchy vegetables such as broccoli is connected with reduced risk of some cancers (including mouth, throat and stomach cancers), according to evidence on cancer prevention by the World Cancer Research Fund. Eating a diet high in cruciferous vegetables along with a healthy dose of turmeric daily may also have anti-cancer benefits.   

Finding a way to eat Broccoli that everyone will enjoy is a chore for many families. Many children just will not eat it without a cheese-like substance oozing all over it. Finding a middle ground that will make everyone happy can be difficult. Hopefully, this recipe will be of some help to those who are determined to get this super-nutritious vegetable into their daily diet (and the diet of their loved ones).


NOT Vegan Broccoli and Cheese 

• 1 onion, chopped
• 1/2 stick light margarine
• 1 pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
• 1 cup brown rice. Use instant rice for this recipe
• 1 can cream of mushroom soup
• 1/4 cup water
• 1/2 cup 2% cubed Velveeta
• 1/2 cup skim milk

• In a small saucepan, sauté onions in margarine. 
• While onions are cooking, using a 13 by 9 in. baking dish, combine all of the remaining ingredients, adding onions and margarine to dish when done. 
• Stir together. Make sure that it is mixed well.
• Bake for 35-45 minutes, uncovered, at 350 degrees.


 Even though the majority of these ingredients are acid, you can make up for it by eating other alkaline veggies as side dishes. The object of the High Alkaline foods eating style is not to avoid acid-forming foods altogether but to maintain a diet of 60-80% alkaline-forming foods to optimize your health and boost the strength of your immune system. This type of eating will naturally normalize many body functions (such as waste elimination) and help melt away any unwanted excess body fat.

The alkaline diet is here to stay and you better get used to it popping up into the spotlight every now and then. It is getting more popular as prominent people in society rave about its effects on health. Even while the medical community argues the effects of an alkaline diet on cancer tumors, no one can argue against the positive effects of eating this diet that is very high in veggies and fruits. The benefits of eating a diet high in whole plant foods have been documented in research studies for years. Even if this alkaline pH eating style does not have a direct effect on cancer cells, most cancer researchers still recommend a diet high in veggies and fruit to lower your risk of cancer and other diseases. Unless you have really physical job or are training as an athlete, you probably don’t need most of the starchy foods you eat. It only serves to maintain that roll of fat around your middle! Eating much more green leafy vegetables and a wide variety of brightly colored fruits or veggies will add strength to your immune system and vigor to your energy levels.

The fact that transient time of the digestion of a plant food diet is much quicker than a diet of meat and dairy would allow. The presence of fiber is critical to transient time and it is not present in meat or dairy. The slow movement of animal products through the digestive system may be a heavy contributor to colon cancer. There are also other benefits to consider. There is new research published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism revealing that an acidic diet contributes heavily to bone loss while an alkaline diet prevents bone loss. This information could be a big help for older people who may be fighting osteoporosis. Bone loss is a real problem among older people in the modern world and maybe we could minimize the problem by endorsing a high alkaline diet among our senior citizens and those that are soon to be. So if we eat a diet of 60-80% alkaline foods and take a quality calcium supplement (I take calcium citrate) then we may be able to slow the progression of bone loss in our later years.

When you look at it closely you will see that the alkaline diet is a healthy diet. You are reducing the amount of high fat toxic foods that you have been eating and are replacing them with healthy natural foods that body would much rather be digesting.  You should always hydrate your body by drinking plenty of pure water or green juices, and avoiding alcohol and caffeine along with processed sugar. In addition to feeling better and getting rid of the symptoms caused by your unbalanced pH levels, you should also see some remarkable changes in your physique. Less sugars and less fat in the diet means rejuvenated cells and a slimmer waistline. Your diet changes will help you to eat less calories and fat which will lead to weight loss and normal blood sugar levels. You can consider this one of the benefits of your healthy diet.


Spicy Cashew and Veggies Stir Fry


2 Tablespoons Oil
1 Large Onion, Chopped
3 Cloves Garlic, Crushed
1 Small Red Chili Pepper, Chopped
1 small piece of fresh Ginger Root
4 oz mushrooms
1 16 oz block of Tofu
10 oz package of Broccoli
1 Small Bag Cashews
4 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil


Heat the oil. Fry tofu lightly and add cashews when finished. Remove from pan. Add the onion, garlic, chili, and ginger to the same oil and cook for about 2 minutes. Add the mushrooms for one minute. Add the tofu, broccoli, cashews and soy sauce and cook for about 2 minutes. Add in the sesame oil for Asian flavor.


I believe that humans should eat a diet very high in fruits, veggies, nuts and beans. These are the foods that nature designed for our body to digest for energy. If it is possible then I recommend that you eat these foods in their raw form. If you want to eat acid foods in small quantities every day then go for it! Remember, you only have to eat 60-80% alkaline foods daily. That leaves you quite a bit of room to eat that garbage that you lust for. Or you can eat some healthful acid foods lot a small bowl of blueberries. I have lost over 100 pounds since beginning my lifestyle of a diet high in veggies and fruit. Eating a high alkaline food diet has helped me to eliminated allergy problems, headaches and lack of energy. I have my days where I eat things that I should not but I feel that I can maintain good health as long as I eat a high alkaline diet of 60-80% veggies and fruit daily.
